In a badminton smash, available preparation time and the body’s centre of mass often change together, making their effects difficult to separate from observation alone. This program designs an experiment that manipulates the two factors independently.
The question
How do short preparation time and a backward centre of mass each affect smash movement and outcome? A 2×2 assignment is designed to separate them.
Current public state
Only the experimental design and power sensitivity are public; no observations exist. Detecting the interaction requires substantially more participants than detecting the main effects, so the sample size remains undecided.
Evidence boundary: Instrument feasibility and ethics remain unresolved, so the protocol is not sealed and data collection is not authorized.
