Every Finding identifies concrete observations that would weaken or reject its current claim. A Method states negative controls that must be rejected. A Protocol states manipulation or execution failures that prevent causal interpretation.
A surprising mismatch first triggers checks of the instrument, analysis path, and measurement contract. This does not immunize the hypothesis. In EP-0002 three stability detectors failed in a row, one of them a relapse of a detector already recorded as invalid. Corrections and alternative explanations are recorded, and unresolved mismatches stay visible.
