Use an Issue for a concrete defect in code, data, metadata, links, or privacy. Use Discussions for a replication report, competing interpretation, falsification proposal, or broader critique.
Useful reports identify the Research Note ID and commit, distinguish observation from inference, preserve failed results, and propose the smallest discriminating check. A critique does not need to contain a fix.
Extend a result
Change one declared condition at a time when possible: a load, distribution, scale, instrument, trace, seed family, or domain boundary. State the original claim, the changed condition, and the observation that would preserve or narrow it. An extension is most useful when it can still fail.
